General Greyhound Tips

Keep house collars (clip or buckle type) with ID tags on your dogs at all times.

If your hound becomes lost, call SA Greys IMMEDIATELY at 520-955-7421. We can begin a search. The SA Greys tag that comes with each of our adopted hounds has our phone number and a unique ID number. A rescuer can call us with that ID and we can retrieve your contact information.

Please DO NOT use a retractable leash when walking your dog. We recommend a Martingale style collar for walking. Watch our friend Michelle Caillet (owner of Greyt Escape) demonstrate a Martingale collar.
